This was my first opportunity to photograph a newborn...6 days old! Welcome to the world little guy! He was a very good little model, but didn't sleep a wink! (Until I left!!) These are just a handful of the ones I captured, but I wanted to get a quick peek up for the family!

6 months portraits

Isn't she a doll? Here's a couple of her 6 months portraits. She was a good sport even though she wasn't full of her usual big grins (though Daddy coaxed one out of her when he came home!) Her mom is such a sweet friend, thank you for allowing me to take these. I can't wait to try a few more when the weather warms up!

Project 365

Be sure to check out my Project 365. Basically, I will be taking a photo a day (the easy part) and blogging it on my new(est) blog : Whippetmom Snaps 365

The hard part will of course be blogging about it every day!

It's a fun way to keep me from losing the fun of photography by teaching me to see the ordinary in new creative ways. I'll try out some weekly/monthly themes but mostly I'm just seeking to document this year in my family's life.

At the end of the year, I'd love to print the blog into a coffee table book. Anyways- check it out and Happy 2010!
