Remember little Andrew? My first birth client is now two! weeks old! And the weather finally cooperated for us to do his newborn pictures! But Mr. Andrew had other ideas, and wanted to make sure I really worked hard today.
We spent a good three hours soothing, feeding, burping, rocking, swaying, turning up the heat, changing him (and all the blankets because he also thought I needed to do laundry tonight on all of my prop blankets ;) )... until we finally gave up and did family stuff first with his precious parents and sweet grandparents...
and then when that was done, he passed out. So for fifteen minutes, I raced the clock to get everything done before he could wake up!!

This adorable family has two of the sweetest little boys ever. Big brother Braddock was just too sweet when I arrived to do his little brother, Abram's, newborn portraits. He shared toys with me and tried his best to be a big helper. :) He was a little cautious about taking a picture with his bigger family but I know he will best buddies with Abram before we know it!! Mr. Reece was born 5 weeks early on Christmas Day! What a present! He's still a little peanut but you would NEVER have guessed he was almost 3 weeks old by the way he slept. I only got to see his beautiful eyes for just a few moments today- he was so content to sleep the morning away :)

Yesterday I had one of the best days ever. I documented the arrival of baby Andrew (the adorable son from this maternity session). Even though mom unexpectedly had a c-section, I loved being there to capture the before and after shots for this precious couple. They prayed and hoped for a baby for so long, and then he had to make Mom work even harder to celebrate his arrival...but oh I think it was worth it. They will be amazing parents, they have such love for this little boy already...Here's a small sneak peek of Andrew's birthday yesterday, I will have a slide show up in a few days showcasing everything. Thank you so much P family for allowing me this wonderful opportunity. I can't wait to come back and do Andrew's newborn portraits in a few days. He is such a special little miracle and I loved getting to be there to welcome him into the world!!
Gorgeous Courtney arrived just in time for Christmas. She is so tiny and perfect, and her hair...to.die.for. We did as much as we could this day, but little Courtney was testing the waters as a drama queen and didn't really want to take pictures, so I'm going back in the next few days to try and get some family ones with her a bit...quieter ;) Enjoy your sweet baby girl O family- she's precious!!
I'm a little behind in blogging this gorgeous family. We did this session right before Christmas, so things got crazy right after! Bridgette is a good friend of mine from MOPS and her three year old and mine are big buddies- so it was fun to chase around another little guy as wild as my own (but amazingly more cooperative!)
