Seeing this beautiful family again was so much fun! It is amazing how much sweet baby Juliana has grown!! Daddy was home for a mid-tour visit and I could tell how much miss Juliana loved having him around. She was all grins for him!

Isn't she such a gorgeous mama-to-be? I can.not wait to do your maternity portraits, Lindsey! She has three very handsome boys (daddy and two big brothers) that I am excited to photograph too!

But this post is about her beautiful shower honoring little Bennett. Everything was so pretty and delicious, and just fabulous for a friend that deserved nothing less. Here's a look at Lindsey's shower...

Lindsey isn't my only super talented cake baker/decorator- this was made by our friend Heather and it was as delicious as it was beautiful!

And then Owen got passed around for awhile, here he is with one of his surrogate MOPS grandmas and then snuggled in on Holly and Max (her little guy set to arrive soon!)

Mr. Bennett's nursery is going to be cute, especially with some of the adorable gifts he received...

I just LOVE how this session turned out. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunset-mix in one of the sweetest families I know...and I'm in love with these images! Baby Sophie ::Bossier City newborn photographer::

Meet little Sophie, the adorable baby sister of this darling little girl, who you can also see here (a little more recently!). We did this session in two different days, almost 2 weeks apart. In some pictures she is only 3 days old and she didn't really want to sleep much that day!

I love watching families grow and I'm so glad I've had the chance to see sweet Aubrey blossom into a loving big sister and meet little Sophie. I dread moving so much, because I will not only miss the friendship I have with their mom, but I hate the idea of not getting to capture these sweet girls growing up!!

I met up with the K family for some quick family pictures before Daddy heads overseas for a bit. While blogging this I realized I forgot to blog baby sister's newborn portraits. (oops!) So those will be up in a little while. Miss Aubrey just turned two and she is such a fabulous big sister to little Sophie.

This was one of my first official shoots back after maternity leave and they were a dream to work with. Little Noah didn't want to give up too many of his smiles but he was still adorable and very easy going :) Enjoy your sneak peek V family!!

A quick glance at what's been keeping me so busy during maternity leave.




If only he still slept like that!!!


I also just wanted to clarify that I'm going to be on leave until the 18th of April. A few things have come up and I need the extra week or so to catch my breath essentially ;) Can't wait to get back to work capturing sweet moments for my clients, however, I'm only going to be doing limited shoots in the coming months as I am working really hard to balance family life and business life.

Life with three sweet precious babies is the most important thing to me and I want to be sure to spend as much time with them as I can while they are little, with that and a few other things coming up this year...please be sure to book early if you are considering family photos or newborn photos this year. I will only have limited availability :)
